Our History
Jaya Eye Care Centre was started in 1996 with the blessings of HH Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal of the Kanchi Mutt. Started by Dr. B. Ganesh in a space of around 250 sq.ft, initially it served the needs of patients in and around Mandaveli.
In 20 years time, we have grown slowly and steadily to around 4000 square feet of space, with patients coming to us for treatment from not only Chennai but from all over India and abroad.

Medical Director, Jaya Eye Care Centre
Dr. B. Ganesh, our Chief Doctor, is a Well Recognized Expert and Leading Eye Surgeon specializing in Cataract & Refractive Surgeries. He is a recipient of several honours and awards from India and abroad.
He has wide experience performing 40,000 plus surgeries on patients across Chennai and Tamil Nadu over the last 30 years.
Apart from being the Medical Director of Jaya Eye Care, he teaches at various Premier Medical Colleges of Chennai.
Our Administrator
Mrs. Srividhya Ganesh, is the Director and Administrator of Jaya Eye Care Centre. She has been and is a Pillar of Strength, Leadership and Support of our Institution. Her vision and focus have helped in developing Jaya Eye Care and taking it to the level that we have reached today. She actively involves herself and her team in Social Responsibility Activities such as Free Eye Evaluation events and camps in institutions in Chennai.
As a Director of Jaya Eye Care, she manages the centre, combines intellect with compassion, keeping the centre equipped with latest technology and patient friendly facilities. She has been in charge of getting the hospital Accredited under the ECO Standards of NABH, the first private hospital in entire Tamilnadu to achieve this distinction.
Our Centre Manager and PRO
Mr. Chandrasekar is our Centre Manager. He takes care of the day to day operations of the clinic. He is also in-charge of our Insurance Department and has a wide experience in medical insurance processes. You may contact him for information about our centre.
Senior Consultant Optometry
Mrs. Swathi is our Senior Consultant Optometrist.
She has an excellent knowledge on optometric concepts – refraction, dispensing and differential diagnosis. She is experienced in Binocular Vision, Computer Vision Clinic, Vision Therapy, Amblyopia Clinic and Prism Dispensing and BYNOCS Vision Therapy. She has over 9 years of experience that includes clinical research, training, academics and administrative skills.

Our Support Staff
Our Optometrists, Reception Staff, Opticians, Pharmacists and OT & Lab Technicians, Ward nurses provide a warm environment and assist all our patients in a caring and compassionate manner. Meet all of our Support Staff including Accounts, Maintenance, Housekeeping and Security staff.
