Excellent and eminent ophthalmic surgeon; A loyal and committed administrative system; Compassionate staff
In times when the medicare space is dogged by commercialism and a decadent value system overall, Jaya Eye Care Centre stands out as one of the few unique institutions setting up standards that is worthy of emulation by the medical fraternity.
Patient care, empathetic approach, a carefully selected diagnostic needs, quality of consultations and solutions, latest in equipments, techniques and technology, lab franchise, a pharmacy, a spectacles counter, cost economies, a complementing team of specialist consultants spanning the entire spectrum of eye related issues, a loyal and committed administrative system, a kind and a compassionate staff, a pleasant environmental ambience removing the apprehensions of patients in the waiting zone all under one roof combine so well incredibly to provide a seamless journey at the patient level.
Interestingly all of what has been described has been the result of the untiring efforts of the founder, an excellent and eminent opthalmic surgeon Dr. B. Ganesh ably supported by his wife, in transforming a dream into reality.
What is witnessed in the environment today is largely the cascading effect of their ethos through the entire chain to the last link in the system.
I have been a direct beneficiary of consultations with Dr. B. Ganesh on eye care related matters at the centre over the years and every time I have been in and out, I have always felt safe and secure and that feeling and confidence continues todate.
A week ago I went through a pleasant experience of undergoing cataract surgery for one of my eyes. I walked into the centre @ 7 in the morning. In 10 minutes after some painless preliminaries, I walked into the theatre and laid myself on the operating table and noticed the presence of a friendly theatre staff around.
The procedure that followed, a painless one at that was all over including implantation of an IOL in about 15 minutes and I was informed by Dr. Ganesh that the surgery was successful and I could return home and return for follow up as advised.
I felt fortunate and never could imagine that the surgery could be such a pleasant experience. It is my heart felt desire that someone like Dr. B. Ganesh who has a record of helping the needy and organising free eye camps etc. should be blessed with the best in health and long years of life continuing the pursuit of a noble social cause to which he remains devoted 24/7.
