Dilatation
For most ailments of the eye, dilating the eye helps in the diagnosis and hence your eyes have to be dilated. Dilatation drops will be applied to both your eyes, at intervals of ten minutes. While eyes are being dilated, you may experience mild discomfort after the first drop. Dilatation may take between 15-30 minutes and you can be comfortably seated in our lobby.
The pupil of the eye will stay slightly dilated for a couple of hours. Avoid driving vehicles after dilatation. It is always safe to have an attendant with you.
Examination by Optometrist
Our Optometrist will evaluate your eyes using Auto Refractometer. Vision Screening will be done using a Vision Chart for fine tuning your prescription for common conditions like myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism. Given the limited waiting space, we request you to come with one attendant.
Additional Evaluation by Gen. Ophthalmologist
Additional evaluation will be done next by the Assistant Doctor. Mention additional details and equipment used.
Examination by our Chief Doctor
Our Chief Doctor will examine your anterior segment (front), cornea and retina of your eye. Depending on the eye condition, additional tests may be required. Mention specific tests and equipment if necessary. The doctor will investigate and diagnose Eye conditions if any and intimate treatment options for you such as glass prescription, medication, surgery or procedures.
Follow up visit without Dilatation
- Glass / Contact Lens Prescription
Patients needing glass prescriptions, will be asked to come in the next day. Our Chief Doctor will examine your eyes without dilatation. Evaluation of the eyes with and without dilation is needed for proper glass prescription and medication if required. Kindly schedule an appointment with the Reception for the follow up visit. - Surgery / Procedure
Patients with any other eye conditions will be asked to come in the next day. Our Chief Doctor will examine your eyes without dilatation. At this time, the doctor will investigate and diagnose Eye conditions if any and provide treatment options for you such as surgery or procedures.

We have an in-house Pharmacy and Opticals in the lobby for your convenience.
